I found the staff extremely helpful; I was notified of what I would need to pay up front, how many sessions of therapy I would be allowed per my insurance--I was even asked if I would be able to handle the amount due. Dawn, Dr. Duellman's nurse, was exceptionally helpful. Plus, when she said she was going to do something, i.e. meet me to take my staples out, she did it. My therapist was great at interacting, explaining why I needed to suffer! and why I needed to continue on with my exercises at home and what exercises would be beneficial. There was no guess work on my behalf throughout the entire process (1st day I met with Dr. Duellman to the present). I am exceptionally pleased with everything and everyone I had to pleasure of meeting.
My wife had syrgery by dr Dillman and has gone through the worst experience ever. I recently had knee surgery same as here's but mine was worse. I went to see dr butler from Hess memorial and received nothing but the best care n treatment. I had 3 tiny incisions n I was soar for a couple days but he had me up in walking right after surgery. On my wifes case they gave her an epideral n the nurse didnt even help her get dressed or say she was able to walk. I was there to help my wife get dressed but she ciuld not feel her legs or feet. She slide right down the wall n I pulled the nurse button for help n no one came so I manned up got her off the floor and the nurse came in 10 minutes later with the wheel chair where I had to scoot her off the bed to get her in the chair. Needless to say the doc never said good bye or show any compassion. I pushed my wife in the wheel chair to get her in my truck while an 80 year old greeter or assistant stood there while I struggled to get my wife in the truck. Needless to say I had surgery on December 8th n in had no brushing or any issues. She has been in excruciating ok n since surgery n he gave her 5 mg of vicodin to help for pain which she told the doc they dont work on her. I had a dr appt on the 13th to follow up with my doctor which was dr butler. My knee was healing great just need a little more rehab. I asked him n I know my wife isn't a patient but I asked him to look at her knee and he said of course. When we unwrapped the bloody gauze he looked at it and said he would never do the surgery like this. He had to Restitch her leg back up. Gonna seevifb I can post the pictures but if I was you I would not go see dr duellman. My wife is going to see him today n if i felt better I would go with him but a have a flu virus. Maybe I should go so I can poop on his floor n tell him thats what I think of him
Second Knee replacement. Very good experience. I found that patients who do their therapy have very good results, but people who shy away from therapy because of the pain, have bad results and take much longer to recover. The staff at Riverview on the floor especially dedicated to knee and hip replacement were above reproach. They were friendly and competent. The staff working at the Wisconsin River Orthopaedics, both surgery and therapy knew their jobs and were wonderful.
I was treated so well from the doctor, nurses, therapy at the hospital and clinic. My knee feels so much better, yeah.

I had my second knee replaced by Dr Duellman 8/14/17. He did an excellent job and I was walking unassisted the first week. By my 6 week appointment is was as if nothing had been done and my knees were my own originals. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Duellman to anyone, and should I ever need orthopedic surgery, he would definitely be my choice of provider.
