Clean, small locally owned grocery store. Employs a lot of high schoolers in the area. Because of its smaller size easy to quick run in to grab a few items.
On the note of quality I have to say I prefer to buy meats there as well.
I like this grocery store not because it's the cheapest in town which it's not but because it's a neighborhood grocer and it's only like 4 blocks from my house and I definitely appreciate that they do have a good selection of beers I don't care for buying bread here and the roasted chicken here is the best in town. I like to think my business is keeping the local grocery store open rather than having to always go to Walmart and other big-name Grocers.
Great store, good food.their meat department is ausome and fresh. Bakery OK for a small store. The deli is great cooked chicken any way you want. The have a large verity to choose from. They even have chicken gizzard s which my husband loves. I suggest everyone try out this store.
I absolutely love the kids carts! My daughter is very much a little helper so the carts help her stay busy while we shop for groceries. The pieces aren't very low but the sales are good and I like that I don't have to deal with all the "other stuff" when all i need to do is pick up groceroes for the week. In other words... no toy section to avoid, or pet section with the "fishies!".
